He had no idea in what capacity He would enter the entertainment arena but he knew he was most comfortable in front of a crowd. After arriving in America Carl started going through the phone book looking for talent agents and clubs to perform at. The first listings he saw were The Comedy Connection and Stitches Comedy Club. So he picked up the phone and made some calls and was given info on how to get on the open mike shows. Carl’s  first open mike was at Stitches Comedy Club. ” That night I did really well. I was so full of energy and so nervous. It came across as funny. I guess “The next week was disastrous, I was cocky didn’t get one laugh” Since then Carl has become one of the country’s top headlining acts. With his high energy style of comedy. Be sure to come a little early to see the Mitchells selling and signing all their comics in the lobby before the show!
